Update from CP 8

Team Goldfish were the first of the short course teams to come off the short course and were happy to meet Buzz back at the TA to join them for the paddle. The Goldfish were raving about the downhill section on the first mountain bike leg and Mardi made the tandem fly down the hill but was nice enough to warn about the bumps.

08:08 More invincible Girls on top made some good navigation decisions last night and managed to get down off Feathertop in the light. They intercepted some other teams at the top of the mountain but chose an alternate route down which paid off. They came into CP8 at 08:08 and after a quick stop at the general store for some chocolate milk they were on their way to the paddle.

11:54 Cyclepath have come through transition and are making their way out to the paddle leg.

12:16 Austelaps have just made their was into transition, after a long night out in the mountains. The team was not super happy about the additional 8km trek to the paddle leg but after a quick breaky of museli and milk they were on their way.

11:06 The Yogi Bears have come into CP8 off the short course.

13:03 There are still 8 teams out on the trek leg that were completing the long course and 7 teams that were short coursed.

13:05 Little Miss Sunshine and Sutmap BEAN have both just left CP8 on their way to the paddle.
