Teams arriving at CP4 for a hot meal and a change of clothes before heading out into the 85km trek.

At 6:30 this morning teams were still arrive at arriving at CP4 in Harrietville. 11 teams had started the Trek leg and 6 more were in transition about to head out on the trek. The heavy rain made the climbs slippery, slowing many of the teams down. Racers were arriving eager to get out of the rain and change clothes. A lot of teams were opting to have a quick sleep and cook a hot meal at the TA under shelter.

Most teams are averaging a 3 hours in transitions. The lead teams were in and out within the hour.
At 9:43am there were still 10 teams out on the mountain bike leg (leg 2). The rain overnight would have made the tracks slippery and wet!!
